The third tab in Cougar CMS is the Resource Library. This is your digital library – a place to store all of the images, Flash files, PDFs etc that may be used in the website.
The following items display on the Resource Library tab:
The name of the resource.
The status of a resource - being edited, awaiting approval or scheduled for publishing.
Arrows enable you to move an item up or down the hierarchy.
Clicking this button gives you the choice of editing, reordering or deleting the resource.
Clicking this button gives you the choice of creating a new article, making a copy or quick-adding from your computer.
Previews the resource.
Before using a resource in the Site Tree, you usually upload it to the Resource Library. If you have a large number of resources to add, you can use the Quick Add feature. You may need to resize a resource (ie. an image) before uploading it.
TIP: Instead of adding a resource to the Resource Library and then linking to it from content in the site tree, some templates allow you to upload directly from your computer. For example Library Image, Gallery Photo, File and Flash Video.

). The Cougar Content - Quick Add page displays.TIP: A zip file will be automatically unzipped and its individual files will be added to the Resource Library.
The Resource Library can be organised using Resource Category articles. You will easily find your resources when they are arranged into categories.
