With the New Year approaching, we’ve taken some time out over the last few months to take stock and look back at our successes in delivering our value-added services. But we’ve also been looking forward at how we can improve things, so we add even more value to your organisation.

Developing our services to meet your needs

One of the most significant changes will be the way we manage support for our clients. We already provide post-implementation support, whether you’re on the support plan or not – we’re just a call away. Now though, we’re planning an online support lodgement system that will enable us to prioritise your work and respond more efficiently.

In addition, we’re also initiating a new relationship management programme that will help us touch base with you on a regular basis, to talk about any challenges you’re facing. By keeping our finger on the pulse, we’ll be in a better position to help you respond to challenges and seize opportunities.

Rolling out a Complete Job Management System for RSA

‘Project control’ seems to be the buzz word of the moment. And with good reason. Many businesses today – particularly ones that have grown quickly – are desperate to improve project efficiency. With a growing customer base and project pipeline making it harder and harder to deliver on time and within budget, many are looking for software systems that integrate and improve job management and workflow.

RSA Engineering: A job-management case in point

One of the recent job management systems we recently developed is for RSA Engineers, who provide site surveys for construction and mining companies. With over 1,200 jobs each year, they were in dire need of an automated, start-to-finish job management system.

The custom system we developed manages the complete project lifecycle and integrates a number of elements, features and functionality, including:

  • Time sheets
  • Invoice generation
  • Task assignment and dependencies
  • Project costing ledgers
  • Staff costing ledgers
  • TOIL calculator (managing overtime and time worked in lieu)
  • MYOB integration

With all costing data in one place, linked directly to projects, RSA’s invoices will now be timely, which will improve cash-flow. What’s more, the ability to create tasks, notifications and alerts for individuals will ensure projects stay on track.
